Contact Wesley
Wesley Hatley is a Stanly County, North Carolina native with deep roots in both the community and the insurance industry. He attended UNC Charlotte, where he proudly pitched for the Charlotte 49ers baseball program for four years—an experience that shaped his competitive drive, discipline, and team-first mindset.
Following college, Wesley built a strong foundation in sales and client service, spending several years with Hendrick Automotive Group and later serving as Internet Sales Manager for South Charlotte Nissan and Monroe Nissan. In 2017, he relocated to the Tidewater area and transitioned into the insurance industry, where he has remained ever since.
In January 2026, Wesley became the owner of Heritage Insurance, continuing the legacy of a third-generation, family-owned agency. His focus is on building long-term relationships, providing clear guidance, and helping clients protect what matters most.
Outside of work, Wesley enjoys a shared passion for travel with his wife, and together they stay on the go managing the busy schedules of their three children. When he does find spare time, there’s a good chance he can be found on one of the many Tidewater golf courses.
